Combining very outdated technologies like billboards with flashy new ones like Twitter almost invariably causes all sorts of headaches, and this is most certainly one of them. What makes the situation all the more embarrassing is that the billboard doesn’t have a live twitter feed: An artist actually constructed this image, workers installed it, and the studio paid for it, all without anyone realizing its troubling implication. Not since “South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut” hit the theaters has something so suggestive gotten past the censors without a hitch.
