1. Hypocrites? last time I looked we were talking about Sarah, not her children….cheap shot.
2. No original ideas? last time I looked, we elect a president that brings along a VP, not the other way around. Now let’s look at Biden’s original ideas……wait, give me a minute…..uhhh, I’ll get back to you.
3. Unintelligent? smart enough to be elected governor of a state, get rich writing a book, and sign what is sure to be a lucrative deal at Fox.

Sarah is a force because of her values and beliefs, not her geopolitical savvy.

What an interesting thread. Sarah Palin’s first broadcast has not even aired yet, and already the sniping from both sides has begun. Perhaps the sane and intellectually honest thing to do would be to wait and see what the woman has to say before becoming unhinged. Just a thought.

Fox caters to a market that other news organizations morally disdain.

That is why they succeed.

Hide bound moralists exist on both sides of the spectrum and are equally suffocating. That Rupert Murdoch was smart enough to exploit the fact that all other US news organizations were fighting to cater to the same brand of moralists and erected a brand for the others is a credit to him.

I hope that Tucker Carlson is able to create the space for those of us who’d like to see government work without morons trying to legislate morality.

Speaking as an Independent, I honestly hope Sarah doesn’t win the GOP’s nomination. I really like her values – pro-gun, pro-life, smaller government, moral values, self responsibility, on and on. When it comes time to pull the lever I just don’t think I could bring myself to do it.

Too much exposure. I know she opted to do what was in the best interest of her family financially, just not the best interests of her political career. If she would of finished her term as governor, surrounded herself with scholars on foreign policy, not to mention grotesquely gorging herself with information and factual data, I may have felt different come 2012.

I hope she continues to do what she does best, keeping everyone so interested on her next move. I’ll be watching FOX tonight, even O’Reilly, the most narcissistic man I’ve ever seen. Good-Luck Sarah, it’s of MY opinion that you are just a little too polarizing.

Cigarette companies and Enron were also extremely successful. This is the A#1 reason conservatives fail (generally speaking); they equate the creation of wealth and popularity with the moral high ground.

24 hour news networks and Fox news particularly are a plague on American society. They force politics into a black and white, right and left scope. I single out Fox because they claim to be “Fair and Balanced” when that are anything but.

Unfortunately, as popular as Fox news is, mixed with the segment of the population that gets their news from it, it makes for a “perfect storm” of ignorance and miss-information. Quite frankly, it is how people like George W. Bush end up being President of the United States with neither the intelligence nor the qualifications to hold the office.

fox takes a lot of heat from the left for the same reason that palin does.they are both popular and extremely successfull,something that no amount of ridicule or name calling can tear down.sarah will join fox’s powerhouses that already drive the left nuts, like beck ,oreilly,and hannity.when those on the left attack fox it’s just whining and snibbling they cannot for a second argue the success of this organization,hell the great one himself couldn’t hurt the ratings of fox,maybe he should have hired someone other than the mao loving dunn.as it turned out she was no match for beck, he sent her packing in just a few episodes.go………fox

She did not know that there is a North AND South Korea, she had to call Joe Biden “Joe” because she kept calling him Joe O’Biden, she still thinks Sadaam Hussein was behind 9-11 and she believed that her candidacy was God’s plan…she’s a perfect fit for Faux News, imo.

I don’t hate Sarah Palin, but let me try to briefly explain a couple of things that I think make me not willing to give her or her ideas support:
1. She and her family are hypocrites. They take about abstinence yet her daughter gets knocked up in high school. It really is not big deal but when you put yourself out there as an “abstinence only” person and you parade you family around as the “true America” well don’t you think you should practice what you preach?
2. She has no original ideas. She says Tax cuts = good, Government = bad. OK, Sarah, why? Do you have some data to back it up? She never does. At least guys like Newt Gingrich can string together a reasonable thought on why these conservative policies have merit (even if I disagree)
3. She is clearly unintelligent. She has shown this with her lack of ability to talk about what she reads, her view on the role of the vice president, and her understanding of international policy (just to name a few). She is just not ready for any serious consideration on just about any political subject.
