When conjuring a state where senate races are especially heated, Massachusetts usually does not come to mind. However, the race between Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley and Republican State Senator Scott Brown has proven quite the contrary, and with each day comes a new piece of news to spice up the race.
Today, The Boston Globe revealed their endorsement of Martha Coakley after weighing the pros and cons of both candidates. Noting that there are “real stakes in this campaign,” The Globe suggests voters cast their vote for Coakley if they want to, “cast a critical eye on Washington.”
Whether the Globe’s input will influence Coakley’s appeal is yet to be determined, however, their take on both candidates is certainly makes for an interesting read.
