For MSNBC host Ed Schultz over at The Ed Show, confusion and shock over Republican Scott Brown’s recent surge in the polls over Democratic candidate Martha Coakley in the race to fill the late Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat has just turned into unabashed panic. Should Brown, as some polls are indicating, prevail in this Tuesday’s upcoming special election, the Democrats’ landmark health care legislation will face an almost certain filibuster threat.
