As more and more Americans hit the fast-forward button on their DVR when ads start up, more and more companies are searching for inventive solutions to still get their message across. One company, Grasshopper.com, which apparently sells phones or voice services or something, just released this ad that keeps the company mascot (a grasshopper, if you simply must know) in the middle of the screen for the duration of the ad, so no amount of fast-forwarding can make him disappear. Unless, of course, you’ve got one of those ‘skip 10 seconds’ buttons on your remote.
