I propose a $20 federal tax on every cell phone, then sue the manufacturers for promoting a dangerous product and secure billions in a settlement that can be invested in prevention and educational programs for the proper use of cell phones. Wait a minute, didn’t we try that with evil tobacco? And it was a total failure? And all the settlement money was squandered on everything BUT education and prevention? Never mind………..
NO WAY are you gonna separate folks from their cell phones. The Answer? BUILD BIGGER CELL PHONES! And put wheels on ‘em, so folks can skate-board on their cell phones. That way, when they collide, fatalities will be reduced. This may even result in lower insurance rates for cell-phone users who give up their cars.
