This truly is a great column, I kind of wish there was one for that human paraquat Ed Shultz. If Rush Limbaugh truly is the mouthpiece of the Republican party, Ed Shultz is for the DNC. The only difference is no one listens to Ed.

…and yet you avoid the opportunity to share with us what it is you see in him.
If you don’t articulate the so-called “point” you believe Olby has, your remark seems nothing more than the townsfolk of “Blazing Saddles” harrumphing that, “Howard Johnson is right!”
Please identify what that point might be, and then support it with examples that show why it might be a valid one.
Just writing that you like Keith and that those who don’t are “tea baggers” doesn’t come across persuasively.
Instead, it comes across as somewhat shallow.

Olbermann really is a ‘Serious Journalist’. After all, he is the one who revealed the scoop that during the ‘several years’ the Pentagon plans to take to eliminate the ‘gay ban’, the DOD has authorized attempting the ‘gay cure’, by surreptitiously dumping massive amounts of hormones into the standard gravy that military messes ladle over every food item.

No one watches Olberman, Maddow,or Matthews, their numbers are down, thats why they had to combine them, this way maybe someone would wathch them.
I would rather watch a train wreck rather then watch any of them lie and twist the truth, towards their Radical Progressive Agenda and their Messiah Obama

Silly folks like Olbermann are representative of the left’s best. He is easily the worst of the worst. Rachel is a close second, and right up there in 3rd place is the Ed Show. Ed, would blatently violate voting laws in Massachusetts by voting 20 times or more to defeat a candidate. The integrity of the left is secure with criminal mouthpieces like these three. It’s good that nobody of substance watches them. Now you know.

I think that that is a simplification. Limbaugh is always promoting himself as a honest newsman who knows he is a Circus barker. Olbermann promotes himself as Edward R Murrow. Two nights ago he had on Howard Fineman (editor of Newsweek) who said that based on the President’s speech, stone masons should be sharping their chisels to put President Obama on Mt. Rushmore.
When you listen to Limbaugh you know you are going to hear parody and excess. He is a radio guy. Olbermann brings the bias of an entertainment radio show to TV and try’s to present that as a news broadcast. Neither Olbermann nor Limbaugh are newscasters. MSNBC and FOX have replaced Crossfire and if you miss Crossfire, you can just toggle between the two and imagine that you are watching one station. I could be wrong.

It’s interesting the obsession some people have with pundits like Olbermann and Limbaugh.

The reality is that they are mirror images of one another with the only difference being the direction in which their extremism points.

They focus on superficial talking points in their efforts to win followers, all the while ignoring the reality that faces every American, regardless the particular political ideology one follows.

This is a beautiful statement. First, you are saying that the administration (who has routinely attacked Fox News since the candidacy for Obama began) is weak and impotent (not even as strong as a failed sportscaster who currently gets beaten by a 4 to 1 margin by his competition). Then you are saying the rest of the MSM no longer has any gravitas (and I concur).

Then you finish it off by attacking Americans who are protesting lawfully, just to prove that as a Liberal, you believe that you have the right to silence those who disagree with you. It’s good to see the progressive movement hasn’t lost it’s fundamentals since they supported the greatest mass murderers of the 20th century.
