Doncha think it would be good if we just gave some basic, simple, tests to prospective candidates? Just to make sure they could count, and read? Gee I feel badly I and hundreds across this country made calls from our homes for Brown.. we weren’t FUNDED or PAID by ANYONE..we also contributed to his campaign.. still no payoff from anyone..We will have to see how his votes go and IF he listens to the PEOPLE.. THAT is what he was ELECTED to do..If he can do that AND work with Democrats fine however, people will take a dim view of him working with PROGRESSIVES.. The people are DONE with listening to Politicians we are DEMANDING they listen to US.. As far as the people are concerned the BASE on BOTH sides can go pound salt..

Lamecherry, your post is rite on the money. I was one of his early supporters and also donated to Scott’s campaign. I kept waiting to hear thanks to Tea Party support he received all across America. If He does not think we matter much just let him start voting and talking like a RHINO and see how long he last in 2012. Without our financial and blogging support he would still be a state senator.

-Secure the boarders

Scott Brown can play his Obama populist sentiments and pretend he is lone wolf Arlen Specter, but Mr. Brown had better get something clear. It was Conservatives from Matt Drudge, Sean Hannity and the Tea Party movement who by God’s Grace funded and handed him this victory.

He can delude himself with Snowe and Collins mediocrity that somehow his D Day landing was accomplished by him chugging around in his pickup, as he arrogantly now disses the very Patriots who put him over the top, but Mr. Brown is going to get a fast education in the US Senate is not his playground. Americans are furious over the Specters, Reid’s and Schumers. Mr. Brown in his vowing to work tith Democrats has entered the field of being excluded by an upcoming GOP majority as the base will remember his kicking them to the road.
It is disgraceful what Scott Brown did. It is like the French saying the won World War II alone, but with the help of lots of Indian Gurkahs, Boers and 3 Algerians.

He is better than Curling Iron Coakley, but this guy is already proving inept, ungracious and biting the hand that feeds him.
Mr. Brown had better watch Arlen Specter as he is auditioning for the same defeat.
There patricians of both the Democrats and Republicans have absolutely no understanding of gratitude.

That was very gracious of Scott. But in all fairness, it should be noted that he cribbed that from the President, when Obama made his thank-you speech a year ago this past November, to his supporters, noting that ‘I owe everything to the one person who really put me over-the-top, and assured my presidential victory, Sarah Palin’.

Brown saying ‘Everybody helped’ is a big hunk of political hyperbole. The President only agreed to one fund-raising speech for Scott, and even he backed-out at the last minute, reportedly, because of a frantic plea from Coakley to Axelrod, that ‘If the President can’t help me because of political differences, at least ask him to do me no harm’.

Brown was also helped by a new splinter party formed by a group of republican ‘leaders’ who want to differentiate themselves from the current republican ‘followers’, who their leaders feel have gone ‘Over the top’, as they have publicly stated. (In private, the splinter ‘leaders’ call the current republicans ‘Nuts’). The splinter group was self-nicknaming themselves ‘Saners’, to differentiate them from today’s ‘GOPers’. However, since the splinters include Rove and a Bush, they are rapidly becoming known as the ‘Insaners’. (BTW, rumors that I am trying to set the DC record for ‘Thumbs Down’s', to see what color my post changes to, are correct)
