It’s too bad these so called people of GOD have an agenda (and I include the Pope in that) they should be ministering to the word of GOD to their followers and showing them GOD’s way. If they did this we wouldn’t have the problems we have today. No politicians will do what GOD wants, they are all to afraid of losing their jobs or status.

When you die there is no status just GOD.

You hit the nail on the head. They like to cite Acts 4 as justification of increased government entitlements, especially nationalized healthcare. They’re advocating for a theocracy, not a constitutional republic.

Democrats were so focused on winning they didnt hear a word Obama was telling them. He was very clear on his abortion ideology as well as his Ideas on sharing the wealth and FUNDAMENTALLY changing America. thats what we are getting folks. so if your a christian and upset about Obama doing nothing about abortions. All I can say is next time you vote…No something about the person first.

I think of all the great people that have really made a difference in the world and wonder what it would be like if they had been aborted. I wonder how many great people we have aborted today…that one person that had the solution to world peace or the cure for cancer. One individual unlike no one else that is who we all are. Taking a life before he/she has taken their first breath. Unbelievably and profoundly wrong.

Progressive ministers need to read history. There is almost something wrong with the term. Progressives may seem to be compassionate, but history shows us that when they get power, things change, then it quickly moves to more sinister ways of control. Progressives are rarely kind to religion, seek to destroy it, because it stands in the way of their power. Every Christain needs to read the handbook for Progressives, “Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals” and tell me where Christainity fits into this. Obama is an Alinsky follower, taught it, preached it with his community organizing. No wonder he cannot find a church to attend. There proably is not one that preaches the hate of Wright’s church.

What a disgrace this Campolo is to his religion.

Campolo is dead wrong on both accounts. Abotions are “Economically driven”? Really–show me the data behind that one! If so, the we will have alot more abortions under Obama.

What on the Lord’s green earth is a Progressive Evangelical? More theological confusion from the “christian” left, i.e., those who believe that the Bible merely “contains” the Word of God. Which part that is the word of God, is of course left up to committees of self-serving humans who are forever morphing what is and what is not the actual word of God to serve the comfort zone of the moment.

Sweet, well meaning folks, to be sure, are these. But they are sailing ever so blithely into waters that are NOT Christian.

A recent example… the Evangelical “Lutheran” Churches of America (ELCA) that recently voted to ordinate openly homosexual pastors in “committed” relationships.

Sorry folks. The Bible, which actually IS the inspired Word of God is clear on this issue.

Fool is the term for Tony Compolo. He voted for someone who said he had a halo, said he was the messiah and allowed hisself to be called a god.

This was not a matter of the green kool aid, but a demonic elixir drunk to the soul of these deluded saps.

“Mummy Mummy, the liars didn’t keep their word” sound about like Obama whining that he hasn’t had enough time to make things work by making things not work.

I certainly agree with the folks commenting above. It’s a bit hard to muster up sympathy for the ‘frustration’ an alleged evangelical Christian who worked “tirelessly” to get the most radically pro-abortion politician ever (more extreme than the abortionists’ lobby NARAL itself) elected feels now that his favored politician is disinclined to decrease the number of abortions in this country. Barack Obama is the same utlra-obsessive patron of the abortion industry he always has been throughout his political career.

So Mr. Campolo is either mentally incompetent or the mendacious leader of a phony propaganda front created to deceive Christians, neither of which bodes particularly well for the prospects of his organization to exercise measurable influence over voters – gullible evangelicals or anybody else for that matter – in the future.

I suppose with his complete ignorance of the American psyche I shouldn’t be surprised that Obama doesn’t realize he was exactly the kind of fetus the pro-abortion lobby insists shouldn’t be allowed to live–teenage college-bound mother, technically single since Obama Sr was already a married man. But yeah, I’m surprised he doesn’t.
