As you so aptly point out, it's not the surgery itself, it's the marketing and packaging of the product that offends so much. Dr. Michael is trying to start a "Mommy self-doubt" movement. The very existence of the Mommy Makeover package tells women that "a lot of other women have been smart enough to clean up this embarrassing sagging business so don't be left out." One of my friends recently visited a dermatologist who tried to convince her to have several procedures. She told him she felt someone had to look their age. His reply was "Well, it doesn't have to be you." Ugh!

Jimmy, do you see Mommy's bruised face, sore chest, stitched up stomach and staples behind the ears? THAT'S YOUR FAULT!!! It's your fault Daddy doesn't find Mommy attractive any more and has run off with our next door neighbor. Are you happy now? Are you?

The plastic surgery craze continues to escape me - but seems like something aging Boomers will eventually expect the government - i.e., other people - to pay for. In re: the effects of "years of nursing" on the female breast, Renee, please, keep it clean!
