Obama was a US senator the last two years of the Bush admin, with a democratic majority in both the house and senate. When Obama blames the Bush admin for "dereliction of duty" he is also blaming himself and other democrats because Bush's "failed" policies couldn't have passed without the support of the Democratic congress.

Let me be clear. The real "outrage" is the out of control spending, the secret deals behind closed doors, the President that promised to refuse jobs to lobbyists has hired over 40, the transparency we were promised is more opaque than mud, the CSPAN hearings on health care were DOA and the promise to end "no contract" bids died last week when Obama admin gave a contract to a democratic supporter without first seeking bids. In other words, Obama brought the worst of Chicago thuggery politics to Washington without ever having any intention of following through on any promises made.

What president prompter never mentions is that employment hit record HIGH levels during President Bush’s administration, according to the Bureau of Labor Stats. As did wages, productivity, longevity, disposable income, personal spending and the stock market hit record high levels as well. Things only began to turn south when the business community became convinced that the next president was going to be an anti-American capitalist hating commu-fascist.
