Very little of that goes to health care workers or even to the person receiving services. These companies are very good at milking services for EVERY DIME. I have worked in this area for over 35 yrs, I have seen it. I have also seen health care services cut back so far this year, many of the elderly middle to low income have been forced into nursing homes due to cut backs in funding of course the higher income families just pay more out of pocket or pay for all their in home care privately. It will cost 40 times as much to care for an elderly person in a nursing home than in their own homes. In home care was something that President Bush highly supported and its sad to see that things are changing in this area so fast.
