I’ve never understood how extending benefits lead to job creation. I would think extending benefits only lead to extending dependancy but then again I dont head up Princeton’s economics department…

The bill is crap; won’t create any jobs, and they know it; valium for the restless, angry populace so they won’t riot. In a way this tokenism on jobs actual makes Obama quite transparent as someone who really does want to see this economy in a tank. Wonder why?

Look, let’s be clear. This was caused by Bush/Palin. We all know that Obama is far too smart to let something like this happen. Remember how many hundreds of times we heard the snarky, “we are smarter, Bush was stupid” mantra during the primaries?

The five de[artments that run homeland security could not communicate with one another when clues were hitting each of them in the face, so why should we expect two branches of the government controlled by these simpletons to be able to communicate? I would be ashamed to be a Democrat today.
