On Morning Joe earlier today, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell didn’t take too kindly to former Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen’s argument that the Obama administration’s policies were inviting another terrorists attack on the United States. O’Donnell argued that the Bush administration “invited the first attack” on September 11 by failing to notice warning signs.
Host Joe Scarborough eventually interrupted O’Donnell and told viewers he’d be interviewing Thiessen himself after the commerical break.
Not that he should have been surprised: O’Donnell has a reputation for this sort of thing.
