I often hear phrases like"harness the energy",and i don't like what they imply. This movement should not be about propelling any given candidate into office, but to define exactly what the movement expects from those whom do get elected. Our alliance is with the constitution and our country, and we are desperatly seeking those who would serve and protect them.Doing so will serve the people of our country well. Mordechai is correct this movement is better served without a leader, and actually even without an official party loyalty. Chances are republicans will be closer aligned to the movements agenda, but the tea party would likely embrace any candidate. It's common but false to equate the tea party with far right agendas,Scott Brown is nowhere near far right, but was supported by the movement. What i've concluded from talking to many tea party members is that they are centrist on social issues, but conservative fiscally. In short they are mostly middle class working americans who have sit on the sidelines without a leader and frankly without true representation for too long.

The longer the crowning of one leader can be delyed, the better for the Conservative movement as well as for the Republican Party. When that leader is selected all of this positive energy will naturaly be focused only on electing that individual instead of all of the good things that are being done today.
