President Barack Obama and Senator John McCain (R-AZ) engaged in the feistiest exchange of the health care summit, thus far today. Inside the Blair House, where the meeting was being held, McCain brought up numerous points that Obama did not appreciate, such as the White House’s deal with Phrma. President Obama also brought up the 2008 presidential election, where he faced off against McCain, by stating that “we’re not campaigning anymore, the election is over.”

In the end, Obama cut off the Arizona senator when he brought up the lengthy process in which the legislation was constructed, but not before McCain said that “the American people care about what we did and how we did it.”
