Well, considering that I didn’t support him at all, I think that statement is safe. He could have made his point in a number of different ways without screwing with people who’ve lost their job through no fault of their own. We’re looking at close to 20% unemployment/underemployment here and no one is hiring, which means that facing a loss of your unemployment check could mean someone not being able to pay their bills for the month (even if it’s just a week). That means late fees (which you already can’t afford) and a bigger hit to your credit rating (which can keep you from getting a job).

How about Bunning make his point on someone else’s back and get off of ours? I didn’t vote for Obama, I didn’t support the stimulus, and I didn’t threaten to raise business taxes (which is what caused the company I worked for to fold). Since I’m doing everything possible to keep from having to declare bankruptcy and add to our current debt problem, I’d appreciate it if the Republicans didn’t decide to step on my neck to make their political hay.

The other thing that bugged me is all the lament about furloughed federal employees. We need to furlough tens of thousands and people need to get that.

For those who say this good man “wimped out” reveal ignorance in political strategy. The Senator made the Conservative point without being slapped around without any support.

I would wager that no one slamming him here phoned his office nor phoned their Senators demanding they support Sen. Bunning.

Sen. Bunning is courageous and a true American Patriot. He has implement a strategy which the right can use. Scott Brown got into Obama’s bed in the first vote. Sen. Bunning has now held up this bill to show all those traitors on record for people to vote and to hold up all of Obama’s Marxist lunatic justices.
That is what winning looks like as a minority of 1 Patriot in the Senate with Daily Caller slamming him and people making comments who did not show up to help him.
