Diodes hikes 1Q sales, profit margin projections

DALLAS (AP) — Semiconductor parts maker Diodes Inc. raised its first-quarter revenue and margin forecasts late Monday, citing strong sales in global markets.

The company said it expects to report revenue of between $134 million and $138 million for the first three months of the year, up from a previous estimate of $131 million to $137 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters anticipate revenue of $134.6 million.

Diodes also said it expects its gross margin between 32.5 percent and 33.1 percent of sales, up from a prior forecast of 32 percent to 33 percent.
