Trading places: Robin Carnahan in D.C. as Obama visits St. Louis

Democratic Senate hopeful Robin Carnahan has kept a political arm’s length from the president, careful not to appear in lockstep with the White House on key issues.

But today, as President Barack Obama visits the St. Louis area for a speech on health care reform, Carnahan will be 800 miles away in, of all places, Washington.

    Obama is just staying in his comfort zone, which is running for President, not to be bothered with actually accomplishing anything.

    FYI – Carnahan comes from a long list of family politicians and knows what is on Missourians minds right now – jobs. McCain barely won this state BUT if the election were held today, he’d of carried the state by 75%. McCaskill will be gone in 2012, Carnahan will remain unemployed and this state will revert to a solid Red State again. This administration is seen as an epic failure on all fronts. The governor a Democrat is also trying to distance himself from Obama.
