Tone deaf, inside baseball stuff. I doubt that even most teabaggers care about earmarks so much as they care about OUT OF CONTROL GOVERNMENT SPENDING.

The Republicans are often referred to as the “stupid” party and they sure don’t seem to understand the value of the old “keep-it-simple-stupid” rule.

That’s a bunch of crap. Republicans love their earmarks just like Democrats do (Joe Scarborough admitted that was the thing Republicans hated the most about McCain while he was in office). I’ve heard Republicans (and even Conservatives) defend earmarks to the death, and do it recently. This is a stunt and they can bite me for trying to pull it.

Live it or quit trying to take credit for being against it.
