White House’s Kal Penn headed back to Harold & Kumar

Former “House” star Kal Penn, currently wrapping up a year-long employment stint at the White House, returns to his acting roots this year for a third film in the successful stoner franchise “Harold & Kumar.”

Penn, an active participant in Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, took a hiatus from Hollywood to work for the new administration as associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement.
