Another liberal Blowhard

Apparently, New York Times liberal bomb thrower Charles Blow finds it odd that President Obama’s poll numbers are in the gutter, along with his overall ratings of the recent health care overhaul.

The reason?

Mr. Blow believes this is all due in part to seditious (recalcitrance) acts by Republicans.

Of course, this is the same guy who also believes that a majority of Americans are angry right now, not because of vast government intrusion, but because we have a female House speaker, an openly gay man and a Jew as the chief framers of the new health care law topped off with a black man in the White House.

Isn’t it amazing, the mysteries have been solved?

So aside from being racist, homophobic and chauvinistic, anyone who opposes any policy coming out of the White House or from Speaker Pelosi’s desk should now be deemed “treasonous”, according to Mr. Blow.

After all, treason is the brother of sedition.

It is rather comical how liberals have a tendency of selecting history they want to remember and facts they don’t.

Flashback to the Bush years when Hillary Clinton so boldly professed that dissent is patriotic.

Or, how about those ever tasteful “Bush is Hitler” signs that was proudly on display at just about every far-left anti-war protest?

Let us all recall that in June of 2004, Howard Dean, during a progressive’s rally, demanded that Democrats have to “take back our country”?

Wait a minute, according to guys like Blow, the phrase, “take back our country” is really an innuendo by white people to take this country back from those fanatical minorities who are intent on destroying it. So, if Mr. Blow is right, and since that phrase was the central theme of the 2004 Democratic Party campaign, does that mean they were racist bigots as well?

Should these same individuals be put on trial for sedition, Mr. Blow?

Indeed, the ever so tolerant Blow, who doesn’t have a problem using catchy phrases like “good old boy” and likes describing Christians as the antithesis of the way the country is headed demographically, seems to have no problem lumping everyone who is white, evangelical and conservative into the same group.

And so, the plot sickens.

Imagine what the critics would say if liberals like Blow, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, et al were accused of racism when they so passionately denounced the policies of George W. Bush?

Consider this; if every time a so-called journalist ran an anti-Obama poster they also ran a malicious anti-Bush sign as well.

Obviously, that would be objective journalism which liberals believe is too divisive and over the top for America.

In the end, honest and open reporting will never happen because the corrupt media has an agenda and that is too destroy anyone who voices opposition to Obama’s policies.

And pseudo-sophisticates like Blow will always be there inciting anger all the while denouncing it.
