Oh, Canada.
Faced with the predicament of losing to a U.S. hockey team, Montreal Canadiens fans expressed their frustration in one of the few ways they could on Monday – by booing and jeering the American national anthem as it was sung before the playoff game between the Canadiens and the Washington Capitals.
Though the Caps went on to win 5-1, the pregame insult was not forgotten. In response, the Mike Wise Show, a sports-based radio program that airs in the DC area, created a spoof of the Canadian national anthem entitled “No Canada.” Video of both the booing and “No Canada” song are below:
