GAINESVILLE, Fla., April 26 (UPI) — A man accused of breaking into a Florida smoke shop told police he was trying to burglarize a liquor store but crawled into the wrong air conditioning shaft.
Gainesville police said Donnell Merriex, 36, told them he had been drinking early April 20 and decided to break into Xtra Liquor to steal a bottle after running out of booze, The Gainesville Sun reported Monday.
