Bono — along with President Bill Clinton, two generals and Dr. Josef Ackermann, the chief executive of Deutsche Bank — was honored at the Atlantic Council annual awards dinner held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. After taking the stage, he immediately addressed the fact the dinner “really isn’t the Grammys, is it?”
