A new video from Bankrupting America (BA) points out that Congress was supposed to pass a budget by April 15, or a somewhat belated version if that wasn’t possible. Instead, for the first time in its 111 sessions, lawmakers will fail to pass even a rudimentary outline of America’s finances. BA wonders: What are they doing with all that free time?

Well, the answers may surprise you. For one, they passed a resolution “supporting the goals and ideals of National Financial Literacy Week.” And apparently they did it without any sense of irony.
