BOSTON –An 18-year-old man was arrested Monday after he was found inside an ATM at a Bank of America lobby in Haverhill.
David Haskell had cut a hole in the drywall above the Washington Square ATM, climbed into the back and was attempting to steal money from inside when an alarm sounded at 5:45 a.m.
“Somebody, a gentleman, tried to access the ATM through the roof as opposed to the regular way,” building landlord Timothy Day said.
