A Greyhound bus driver hijacked one of the company’s brand-new $600,000 coaches from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in a desperate bid to visit a gal pal in Mount Vernon, sources said.

Duane Snipes, 29, of The Bronx, spun a web of excuses for investigators, including a plan to conduct $600 tours with the stolen bus, according to law-enforcement officials.

He also allegedly said that he was taking his daughter to school and just going for a joyride.
