Al Gore’s latest plan for reducing carbon emissions: refusing to do the Electric Slide

Al and Tipper won’t be going to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding later this month. Gatecrasher:

“The Gores are not attending the wedding,” family spokeswoman Kalee Kreider said in a statement. “They both wish Chelsea well, believe she is a wonderful young woman, and they share in the family’s excitement.”

The larger question may be, however, whether either Gore was invited to the wedding, which is reportedly limited to 400 guests. In an interview last December with The Daily Beast, Gore, asked about his relationship with Bill Clinton, told the Web site he had just talked to the ex-President “three or four days” earlier. “I was looking forward to Chelsea’s wedding – that’s a happy occasion,” he said.

Yeah, it would be awkward to have Gore there. But then, that would be true regardless of whether or not he’s ever spooged on a masseuse. It’s a shame he can’t attend, but at least it’ll save the bridesmaids some money on dry-cleaning.
