Happy hour – the light at the end of the tunnel that is the work day. Though it seems some states have happier hours than others.
In late 2009, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) released a comprehensive study of alcohol consumption per capita for every state in the U.S. as of 2007.
These numbers are based on alcohol sales in each state, so there’s no way to say for sure who is drinking what, just what people are buying.
