War between Chamber of Commerce and White House spills into open

Jarrett, in her interview with Bloomberg, said that despite the fireworks, the White House and the Chamber “all have the same objective.”

“We want to see companies hire and grow and invest in the United States. We want the United States to not come in second to anybody,” she said. “But the fact of the matter is we have to balance that against making sure we have rules of the road in place that will prevent the kind of economic crisis that we had 18 months ago, that will prevent the kind of oil spill that we had just a few months ago.”
