Olbermann read a poem on Countdown one night and when he was done, he apologized to the Beatles. The poem had no resemblance of a Beatles song. When questioned about it, he claimed he was apologizing to Sir McCartney for the way America treated him.

It was a joke.

Olbermann reacts as always with cry when confornted with truth, He fancies himself as the wannabe president of MSNBC. Sad thing is he is nothing more than aging elitiest hippy on a dying network, a wannabe athlete, wannabe be relevent, wannabe be a stud, wannabe Bill O’Reilly, Beck and Hannity. Unfortunately, KO is nothing but a deranged diva who has yet to decide whether his jockstrap is half-empty or half-full.

… and this is exactly the problem with Keith Olbermann; he is such a douche-nozzle that it is almost impossible to make fun of him. How can we parody him when he is already the most hilarious parody of himself? How can we subtilize him into caricature when his character flaws are already so overt and amusing?

eg, there is nothing that we could do to improve the comedy of him whipping out his framed Cornell dimploma to show us all how smart he is. The timing, the irony in the ostentation and his self regard and his utter sincerity… Andy Bernard could not have done it better. I’m ninety-nine percent sure that Countdown is another Ricky Gervais show… it must be. I hope it is. It must be.

Drinking before noon? I thought the GOP cliche was that we’re uptight, sexless (yet still have too many children), miserable, sober people. And dumb, like can’t tell time dumb.

It’s as if some mad scientist found the person with the worst personality in the world, give them the worst acid in the world… and a tv show. And a suit.
