A Foster City man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly opening fire on two men who were making a late-night racket as they paddled a canoe in a lagoon, San Mateo County prosecutors say.

Jesse David Wilson, 39, was at his home at the Beach Cove Apartments on Catamaran Street at about 11:50 p.m. Friday, authorities said. Outside was a group of two men and three women frolicking noisily in the waters off Highway 92.
