LeBron James’ idol has joined the chorus of critics lambasting the NBA superstar’s decision to bolt Cleveland to form a super-team in Miami.

Michael Jordan told NBC Sports on Sunday that James’ decision to join fellow All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Heat was a move he would never have made during his legendary 15-year career.

“There’s no way, with hindsight, I would’ve ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team,’” Jordan told NBC Sports after finishing the Miami American Century Championship golf tournament in Stateline, Nev.
