Excuse me, but the real loons are Priest and Arkin. Just look how Institute for Policy Studies, a hard left think tank with documented cold war KGB ties, is hyping these articles:

Did we mention that both William Goodfellow (Priest’s Husband) and Arkin have been associated with IPS for decades? It’s always been Arkin’s intent to disable America’s military and intelligence capabilities. And now the WaPo has given him an excellent way to do it.

So the Washington Post is a left wing organization whose “agenda solely lays in a socialistic fundamental of “spread the wealth and stop funding that which keeps us safe at night!” Now that is going to be news to the likes of Charles Krauthammer.

Now seriously, the rest of your argument may have had some merit hadn’t you clearly shown you are above all a paranoid loon.

Jennifer, I could never agree with you more. Their is an agenda in this country and that agenda is being attempted right now. Hopefully individuals like yourself will continue to fulfill the needed reporting about such individuals as Priest and her Marxist husband so the masses can be better educated about the poltricks occuring today in our traditional media outlets. In May of 2006, I wrote an article for AIM documenting disturbing connections between Dana Priest, her husband far left activist William Goodfellow and elements of the Democrat party. Cliff Kincaid of AIM took this information directly to the Washington Post. Their reply? She is objective, and works completely independently of her husband. I’d like to see them say that now.

Just look into William Arkin’s background. Examine his contacts with Institute for Policy Studies–a far left outfit that Priest’s husband, William Goodfellow has been associated with for three decades. Top Secret America has not one whit of real reporting. It’s nothing but far left Agitprop–a confection of Priest’s and Arkin’s imagination created by lumping every American with top secret clearance into the same cherry red pie.

The left has been using open source material to cripple America’s intelligence gathering capabilities for decades. Arkin did it with our nuclear program with the help of IPS during the Reagan administration in the eighties.

We’re spending more money on intel since 911? Really! No kidding! Our security systems may need reform and fine tuning? No argument from me. Even so, anyone who thinks that big ole interactive map with all the little blue and red dots is about fiscal responsibility, better intel and the preservation of civil liberties is delusional. Just consider the source.
