Britain plans to decentralize national health care

Perhaps the only consistent thing about Britain’s socialized health care system is that it is in a perpetual state of flux, its structure constantly changing as governments search for the elusive formula that will deliver the best care for the cheapest price while costs and demand escalate.

The new British government’s plan to drastically reshape the socialized health care system would put local physicians like Dr. Marita Koumettou in north London in control of much of the national health budget.

Even as the new coalition government said it would make enormous cuts in the public sector, it initially promised to leave health care alone. But in one of its most surprising moves so far, it has done the opposite, proposing what would be the most radical reorganization of the National Health Service, as the system is called, since its inception in 1948.

Practical details of the plan are still sketchy. But its aim is clear: to shift control of England’s $160 billion annual health budget from a centralized bureaucracy to doctors at the local level. Under the plan, $100 billion to $125 billion a year would be meted out to general practitioners, who would use the money to buy services from hospitals and other health care providers.

The Brits are instituting radical rationing, including sending cancer patients home, with advice on how to deal with their pain and suffering, by themselves.

This is a preview of ObamaCide. Wecome to Maobama’s Grave New World.

Just shuffling the deck chairs around as the ship sinks.

The other famous response to failed systems is to start renaming things. If you call it something different then it’s not the ‘old’ failure (just a new failure, I guess) so everything is okay – “Nothing to see here folks, just move along now. That program is no longer with us.”

what, you mean it really does not work, and it cost not only financially, but in human lives, and is exactly as WE THE PEOPLE knew it was.

this is why we must demand Obamacare be repealed, and repealed now.

Obama just appointed a Commie to head Medicare who was telling us all about the great health care system in Britain. That’s funny, I guess the British don’t agree.

Hmmmmm, who should I believe, a man appointed by a president who habitually, chronically, shamelessly lies about everything under the sun, or the people who live with, have to pay for, and manage Britain’s health care system?

We need to repeal the new financial straight jacket, repeal Obama’s Hell Care, and most importantly, repeal Obama.

It is not only Great Britain. France also passed health care reform that decentralizes care and management. It was there for everyone to see. But not our administration and our Congress.
