Remember the Kennewick Man controversy? The local tribes quickly wanted those remains claimed and reburied because they were inconveniently Caucasian-looking. And Spirit Cave Mummy? All of the very oldest human remains found in North and South America are of a Caucasian or caucasoid extraction. It’s conceivable that they were overrun and eliminated/absorbed by later waves of migration, i.e. the Asiatic peoples who became known as the American Indians. It was also observed by 16th and 17th Century explorers that some of the American Indian tribes, particularly those in the East, had semi-caucasian features. This tends to imply admixture with Caucasian groups, and as the western tribes were of the more recent migration from Asia, it stands to reason that it was the tribes of the East that had both the time and opportunity to absorb more of these pre-Indian Caucasian groups.

At any rate, you are quite correct that no human group is truly “native” to the Americas. The Americas have been peopled from other continents throughout history.

I do remeber (in the 60′s) seeing PSAs on TV every December and January telling all resident aliens (I guess that would be green card holders) to register witht the federal governmnet (every year).
Is this still requirered or not? And doesn’t this have something to do with all resident aliens being in possesion of their “papers” at all times?

Groups like this can not be allowed to continue to frame the conversation any longer through the MSM. They are like Starbucks – trendy and expensive. But after all it’s just coffee.

Most national news orgs have a daily question, often related to a current topic. They are all for profit corporations and when their in house polls see a trend they will respond accordingly.

Time to end this collusion between extremists and the MSM.

What North American aboriginal tribe shed blood, money and generations of time to unite the entire whole of the land of the USA into one country led by one government? Not one. In fact they didn’t even have a government more advanced than a simple tribal chiefdom on hand. The only tribe ever to have done it was a newcomer, not the first however, from Europe.
Long before this tribe came, European migrants and explorers were kidnapped and killed before ever being able to establish themselves permantly in North America. The first survivors to tell these tales wrote it down in the Vinland Sagas. But when the Europeans finally gained a foothold, they quickly established technological, cultural and martial authority. As a new tribe in the Americas, the Europeans defended land and livelihood like all the others. The only difference is that they consistently won nearly every skirmish they fought. The other tribes who weren’t allies were defeated and driven off. When the time came for the Americans, the new tribe from Europe, to defend their interests and land against the other Europeans in the area, they did and they won the whole of the continental USA.
The term “Native American” which by definition means “one native to America” can be confused by the fact that the term “North America” and “United States of America” both can be abbreviated to “America”. However, only one abbreviation is customarily used due to just that confusion. No other country routinely self-identifies as “American”. The meaning of “American” has been established. Therefore, it is obvious the term “native American” is an abbreviation not of the continent but of the nation; one who is native to the United States of America.
According to Webster’s dictionary, “native implies birth or origin in a place or region and may suggest compatibility with it.” To refer to the North American aboriginal tribes as “native” and not the new American tribe, is inconsistent. One is from Asia and one from Europe, no tribe evolved independent of the rest of the genus Homo in the Americas.
The term “aboriginal” in Webster’s dictionary, “implies having no known race preceding in occupancy of the region.” Today’s Asian tribes can’t be proven to be the first occupants of the region. Many tribes could have, and likely, met their demise prior to the contemporary tribes establishing their presence in the Americas. For example, there was the North American Clovis culture which disappeared and ruins of previous European settlements in the north east. Simply because the “Indian” tribes had no written history and did not document their migration is no reason to assume they were the very first race to set foot in the Americas. Conversely, since science has not found, and may be discouraged from asking, when and who may have been in America first, the contemporary Asian tribes must be referred to as “North American aboriginal”.
Denying the title of “native” does an injustice to Americans who have no known family or contacts in any other country. It is impractical to say one is a native with ten, or a hundred or a thousand generations of ancestry in a region, to choose a qualifying value would be a matter of opinion and not of established fact. In all practicality having been born in and having generations of one’s lineage being born in the same nation established by one’s own tribe is the literal definition of “native”. Given that the ancestrally European American tribe created, composed and self-identifies as un-hyphenated “American”, in country, culture and nation as no one else has, the term “Native American” applies to them alone.

When I visit the doctor, when I want to obtain certain tickets, when I go into a bar, when I go to a casino, when I open a movie rental account, when I go to the stadium, when I get a library card, when I go on a plane, when I rent a car, when I sign a lease, when I apply for a bank account, when I start a job, when I want a passport…I could go on and on and on…

Poor immigrants…having to go what we all go through on a regular basis all our lives.

Real funny guy.
I wonder what would happen to someone who tried to get into the conference without a badge.
“We don’t need no stinkin’ badges” they could say and all would be fine I’m sure.
Maybe we could really put Mr. Coley’s ethics to the test and see how he would react if when he returned to his room later some stranger was lying on the bed in his bathrobe.
Would he say ” Olah amigo” or would he call men with badges….?

Yeah, kudos to the activists who don’t (refuse to) understand that the local police simply can’t ask for identification (like immigrants are required to carry under federal law). The suspect must have been stopped as part of a legitimate police stop (see too many SCOTUS opinions to count to determine what that means) before identification can be produced. I agree that targeting ethnicity is racist, but that simply isn’t the aim or effect of the AZ law. By the way, try to quit using the R word before we all quit listening from R fatigue.

What’s wrong with this picture? Were the “whites” at the meeting without registering? Did they come in off the street? Were they selling drugs in the parking lot or in the hallway going into the dining room? Any of them have anybody locked up in their rooms, while they tried to sell them at the door? How many of them went to the emergency room and told them to send the bill to the guy that organized this? Did they stop the “native, people of color, etc.” at the door and tell them to empty their wallet into the bucket so those being stopped at the door could buy a home, etc? Please, if your going to role play a simulation, don’t leave out the other part of the scenerio.

Reminds me of the night I got invited to a Republican rally in Tampa,Florida. We stopped at a Mexican restaurant across the street from the rally to get some chow. While we stood in line some college punks in front of us were talking out loud about kicking Republican Azz. My half drunk brother loudly asked me to call his wife for bail money, because he was getting ready to “seriously hurt” these punks in front of us. The kids whispered among themselves for a few minutes, then quickly left. After we were seated my wife started berating my brother for his behavior. When she was finished he smiled and said, ” Got you a table didn’t I”.
