John Kerry: Democrats’ woes stem from uninformed voters

A testy U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry yesterday blamed clueless voters with short attention spans for the uphill battle beleaguered Democrats are facing against Republicans across the nation.

“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry told reporters after touring the Boston Medical Center yesterday.

“I think a lot of the anger today – while it’s appropriate because Washington is broken – is not directed at the right people,” said Kerry. “Barney is prepared, as others are, to explain what we’re doing. I think when people hear the facts and they see what we’re doing, it frankly makes sense.”

In the interview, Kerry added that voters should be mad at stonewalling Republicans and “big money” in politics instead, referring to a bill blocked by Republicans Thursday that would reveal corporate and union leaders who fund big-bucks political ads.

this from a man who is quick to levy taxes, on those who can least afford them, while he finds every loophole available to not pay taxes, until he gets caught, that is.

what a hypocrite this man turned out to be.

and now he is doing what Obama loves to do, insult the voters,

unless they are voting democrat, they must be those who cling to their guns and religion types,

well I got news for him, this democrat is not going to fall for his crap, the voters are very informed, and they know exactly what they are doing, and come November, they are going to send a huge message to Washington.

I BEG YOU: Learn when to use and not use commas. Your punctuation makes my eyes bleed.

You lectured Annie on being snotty? If you were any snottier, we would all have to have waders on.

I’ll be honest, I hate the bad grammar stuff as well. If someone’s going to post a comment and isn’t very good at expressing themselves, just type it in MS Word, and let it do the corrections for them. It takes about 20 seconds and makes the point so much more interesting (and understandable).

But I have to admit it’s funny to see Pink attacking someone on here for grammar after the abysmal posts by the Leftist loons on the site. It’s like every post they make is an adventure in learning to read 2nd grade composition.

He’s got a point….”Bush Lied People Died,” “War is not the Answer,” “Prop Hate” instead of Prop 8, “Dissent is Patriotic when a Republican is in Office,” “Yes, We Can.” “If it Doesn’t Fit, You Must Acquit.” Smart man.

Better stick to sailing as you, Kerry ,don’t have a f’n clue what the populus thinks or knows !

There wasn’t much sloganeering or signs at Beck’s 8/28 rally. Those voters must have been very well informed.

I have to admit, as much as I disagree with Kerry on almost everything….there’s a kernel of truth in saying that Massachusetts voters have been uninformed. Kerry, himself, is the embodiment of the uninformed voter.
For decades, their voting patterns have been dominated by appeals to moral superiority by the local media, ethnic balloting, political cronyism and political correctness. I call that uninformed voting. These traits have been so overwhelming that it was one of the bases for my moving out-of state a few years ago.
Only the recent ascendency of the new media has slightly eroded the misinformation strangle-hold of the Boston Globe and the feel-good local TV stations.
Will things change sufficiently? Only if sweet reason can trump emotionality.

It really is time for John Kerry to GO! The Tea Party folks in Massachusetts have to organize a huge push to get him OUT OF OFFICE when he is next up for election. By now the people of Massachusetts have surely gotten TIRED OF HIS PATRICIAN Bull**it.
