The top six ‘Saturday Night Live’ Holiday sketches [VIDEO]

If you’re having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, look no further.

We’ve compiled our six favorite sketches from ‘Saturday Night Live’ Christmas specials over the years — though, quite honestly, we’d be perfectly content if we could listen to Alec Baldwin, ie. Pete Schweddy, talk about how “no one can resist [his] Schweddy balls” on NPR only.

Here are six of our favorites, old and new, from ‘SNL.’ After viewing, vote below for yours:

#1 ‘Schweddy Balls’

#2 ‘D**k in a Box’

#3 ‘Steve Martin’s Holiday Wish’

#4 ‘The Hanukkah Song’

#5 ‘Christmas for the Jews’

#6 ‘I Wish It Was Christmas Today’

I’m not much of SNL fan, they’re either hot or cold in my opinion, mostly cold.

They get lucky from time to time.

I suppose if one throws enough bad satire out something is bond to stick.

I think it’s mostly sarcastic humor than anything else.

There are a lot of comedians who aren’t sarcastic, but who still catch you off guard enough to make a good show.

Oh well, to each it’s own.
