Cross-dressing prostitute shot after ‘date’

NEW ORLEANS – Police are investigating an early morning shooting in which a male prostitute who was dressed as woman was shot near the intersection of Tulane Avenue and South Miro Street, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Around 4 a.m., First District police officers were called to a shooting in the 2400 block of Tulane Avenue, according to police.

According to police, the victim, “a self-admitted prostitute who dresses as a female,” was shot after engaging in sexual acts with the shooter.
