Any news about snow in Hell? On Wednesday’s episode of “The David Letterman Show,” MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said she used to be a staunch Glenn Beck fan.

Maddow spoke fondly of the Fox News television host, that is, his pre-“Glenn Beck Program” persona.

“Before Glenn beck had his TV show, I used to listen to him every day on the radio. I think he’s the most talented…He was the most talented radio personality of my entire generation. He was incredibly performative was the thing, it’s that he would, he inhabited all these different characters, he would do all these voices, it was very entertaining, really funny, really fast-paced, very unpredictable, surprising…”

But, now that Beck has his own television program, he has lost his luster and humility, Maddow says.

“Now that he has this TV show, he mostly just talks about himself and it’s not as fun, but when he was on the radio, he was great,” Maddow said.
