In the latest episode of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin pokes fun at First Lady Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign.

“Where’s the S’mores ingredients?” Palin announces as she searches through several kitchen cabinets. “This is in honor of Michelle Obama, who said the other day that we should not have dessert.”

This isn’t the first time Palin has questioned the freedom of Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign. In November, Palin visited a Pennsylvania school with dozens of cookies and asked students: “Who should be making the decisions what you eat and school choice and everything else? Should it be government, or should it be the parents?”

Last month, Palin went on the Laura Ingraham Show and said of Michelle Obama, “Take her anti-obesity thing that she is on. She is on this kick, right. What she is telling us is she cannot trust parents to make decisions for their own children, for their own families in what we should eat. … Just leave us alone, get off our back.”

The First Lady’s anti-obesity movement, Let’s Move, is not the only recent campaign to monitor the diets of children. Earlier this year, San Francisco attempted to ban toys in McDonald’s Happy Meals so children would not feel rewarded for eating sugar heavy, high calorie foods.

In September, The Daily Caller reported that Zone Diet creator Barry Sears said Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity effort is ineffective with regards to solving the country’s problem of obesity.
