Tucker Carlson, editor in chief of The Daily Caller, is making headlines after offering his opinion Tuesday night that Michael Vick should have been executed after being convicted of torturing and killing dogs.

Carlson made the comments while hosting Hannity on the FOX News Channel. “Michael Vick killed dogs, and he did in a heartless and cruel way, and I think personally he should have been executed for that.”

The statement was made in response to news that President Obama had made a call to Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and thanked him for hiring Vick.

“The idea that the president of the United States would be getting behind someone who murdered dogs? Kind of beyond the pale,” Carlson said.

Carlson recorded a public service announcement for the Washington Animal Rescue League earlier this year, sharing his belief that no animal should be mistreated.

GO TC GO !!! ONLY YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER (AND MONEY). DON’T RETREAT TO PC LAND. RE-LOCK AND RE-LOAD FOR A FIGHT WORTH FIGHTING. BOYCOTT PHILA EAGLES. THANK YOU FOR GIVING A VOICE TO THE INNOCENT VOICELESS.

Abusing animals is just as indefensible as abusing children. “owning’ an animal does not give anyone the right to mistreat or abuse it. There is not an ‘either”or’ optopn for abuse. With regards to Vick and dogfighters they should be jailed for far longer than what they are given. Obama should be speaking out against dogfighting not defending Vick. And as a Christian, the merciful, gentle and compassionate Jesus I know would not defend or excuse animal abuse either.

I am in no way defending what Vick did, but it’s amazing how killing animals seems to be a much more offensive action than killing humans. Where’s the outrage of the millions of babies killed every year. Vick was punished for his actions. Killing an animal is not worthy of execution, TC.

TUCKER CARLSON executed for killing a dog? First off ley me say I am the owner of two American Pit Bull Terriers. I don’t condone what Michael Vick did with his dogs, but here’s the important word THEY WERE HIS not yours, not mine, HIS and as such as far as I’m concerned he could do with them as he pleased you people kill me the woman from the hypocritical organization PETA who once called for the extermination of the entire breed all of a sudden is so concerned about the APBT and you were probably right along with them. The abortion doctors who kill millions of unborn babies a year IN A CRUEL AND HEARTLESS WAY (your words) FOR MONEY, should they be executed? Ben Roethlisberger sexually assaulted two women how about him? That’s what’s wrong with this country everyone worried about what someone else is doing. Black folks didn’t invent dogfighting go back to England where the breed was developed they knew what they were trying to create and they succeded. The man paid his debt to society leave him the hell alone and let him get on with his life, and while you’re at it get one for yourself. If Michael Vick was just some average joe on the street would you even be concerned? I doubt it.

I have news for you, you can not do with your animals “as you please”. Animals are not property! I fear for your animals.

Tucker should have expanded the list of people who should be executed. I have a list I would like to include.

Stop hiding under the treadmill Hampster. I enjoy your buffoonery.
