At the end there, Maddow thanks him for giving her so much of his time. What else was he going to do with it? Nobody wants to see his movies anymore, and clearly she’s not interrupting his workout regimen. Going on TV and saying silly things to a steadily dwindling audience is all he’s got left. He should be thanking her for remembering who he is and yet still wanting to have anything to do with him.
