A Craigslist ad supposedly from a 25-year-old female Capitol Hill staffer advertising cheap space in a room at her Dupont apartment carries a pretty big catch.
“I’m looking for someone who is open to participating in the swingers parties I have once or twice a month,” the ad says.
The ad is scandalizing aides on Capitol Hill wondering what staffer could possibly be hosting sex parties – and advertising so openly, even if anonymously, on the Internet.
“That’s awesome,” said one legislative assistant with an optimistic take.
What’s more: a phone number listed in the ad is also included on a Twitter account filled with lewd and lascivious postings.
“Horny in DC? call me,” says “Chloe” in one tweet. “I’m getting a lot of hate from other women. Don’t be mad cuz ur man called you my name,” says another.
“Chloe’s” Twitter handle is WhateveULiike.
The Twitter account and Craigslist ad could be an elaborate hoax. Already, the Craigslist ad has been flagged for removal as of early Wednesday. Hill aides started buzzing about it Tuesday afternoon.
No one answered any of three calls to the phone number placed by The Daily Caller. The voicemail does not identify the owner of the phone.
The area code of the phone number points to Richmond, Va.
