MSNBC’s Ratigan laments taxpayer cost of ‘Clinton blow job investigation’

Let them know how you really feel, Dylan.

On Wednesday’s “The Dylan Ratigan Show,” in a segment about the investigation into what caused the financial crisis that has plagued the United States over the past two, host Dylan Ratigan went through a list of other investigations and their costs including what he deemed was the “Clinton-Lewinsky blow job” investigation and how they all had more funding than the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission (FCIC )investigation.

“If you were to look at this investigation and the budget for the FCIC investigation was $8 million. By comparison, the Lehman Brothers investigation I think was $30 million [$38 million]. The 9/11 commission was $15 million. Bigger than the 9/11 commission, bigger than Lehman and more than four times bigger than the FCIC was the Clinton-Lewinsky blow job investigation at $40 million.”

According to Ratigan’s guest, Michael Lewis, author of “The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine,” although the report was well intentioned, it was ill-timed, coming after financial reform legislation had already been signed into law.

“It’s unbelievable,” Lewis said. “This report which I think is quite good — the problem is the timing of it. It comes after the legislation has been written — the whole point was to tell the lawmakers why this happened then you could design a response to what happened. Instead they run there is the Dodd/Frank legislation and then they get the explanation? There’s no surprise that the two don’t sync up.”

EVERYONE AT “MORE SHILLS NO BLACK COMMENTATORS”(MSNBC) IS A PAID HACK FOR THE SOCIALIST OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, PAID FOR BY THE STIMULUS PACKAGE(OBAMA’S SPENDING MONEY!) WHICH WAS RECEIVED BY GE, TO NBC, TO MSNBC. CORRUPTION REIGNS!!! ALONG WITH THE THEFT OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS!!! WHERE DID THEY ALL GO?! NO ONE KNOWS, AND NO ONE CARES, OBVIOUSLY. Dylan Ratigan is the ONLY journalist at MSNBC worth his salt. His reports about Mortgage Fraud were SUPERB! He has the ability to explain a complicated subject so the public easily understands it.
He’s a breath of fresh air — eons above the likes of Rachel Maddox and the other shills at MSNBC.

And who benefited from that “investigation”? a bunch of blood sucking worthless cockroach attorneys, that’s who.

    Piss on them all.

At some point in the future, there will be so many lawyers, that they will used to smother forest fires….what a glorious day that will be…..

The point is they had to investigate the blow job because otherwise, they would have to investigate Clinton’s traitorious activities with Red China. It was another classic ‘look here, not there’. The puppetmasters understood that it was better to have a President smeared for sex than being a traitor. If the latter, the puppet show would end. Even the Sheeple can only take so much.

    • The Die Hard

Typical repukelibagger — liar, moron, hypocrite, and psychotic.

President Clinton was never involved in any treasonous activities, with China or anyone else. You’re thinking of your numbnut buddy Chickencrap George, the never-elected, narcissitic-disorder idiot who handed over an intact spy plane, committed high treason with Israel and Saudi Arabia as well as China, violated every article of the Constitution, wrecked the economy, started two wars based on flat lies, dismantled working government agencies and replaced them with his incompetent political cronies, raised taxes on the working class and gave handouts to his wealthiest inner circle….

Well, history speaks for itself, but repukelibaggers are paranoid schizophrenic idiots by definition, so history is beyond your comprehension.

Haven’t your doctors told you there’s a treatment for Tourette Syndrome?

How old are you? Obviously not old enough (or have lost your memory) to remember ChinaGate, MonicaGate, WhitewaterGate, TravelGate, FBIFileGate, WhitehouseBedroomGate, WhitehouseFurnitureGate, VinceFosterGate, PaulaGate, JenniferGate, TrooperGate, Mena,AR Guns and DrugsGate, WACO and the FBI/DEA, Ruby Ridge and the FBI, Oklahoma City and the FBI. Information just came out that Bill Clinton himself directed the burning of women and children at WACO, all in the name of “gun control”, to make the people cry out “Please save us from the guns.” Janet Reno, DOJ, threatened to expose him unless he re-appointed her to another term.

Add AlGoreGate and China contributions. The missile targeting technology Bill Clinton “gave” or “sold” to China (there’s always MONEY in it for Bill) enabled China to target the U.S. Prior to THAT, their missiles couldn’t hit the side of a barn.

you guys should watch his show. he’s actually the exception to the rule over there at msnbc.

  • SargeH

    Another “classy” act on MesSNBC.

    • spike1120

      Sarge,
They must have an incubation plan at MSNBC that puts these talking heads into a mold that makes them think they are real pundits who can say anything they wish.

Ratigan stunk up CNBC and they got rid of him. Comcast will be looking at getting rid of mr.maddow; mr. ed (whiiiiny) and this fellow ratigan. And I’m certain “Lean Forward” Philips will also get kicked right in his lower brain area perhaps all the way to NPR.

      • The Die Hard

You’re too stupid to even be allowed to have an opinion. You’re only allowed to post anything, anywhere, ever again, after you have watched one year of RACHEL Maddow.

        • SargeH

Hey, little man, has mommy locked you in the basement again?

  • Anamerican

Anybody with even the least knowledge of recent history knows that not a dime was spent on the Clinton/Lewinsky suckup. However, money was spent on investigating the lies and cover up instigated by the pathological lying suckee. His punishment was worse than being removed from office. Imagine returning home and having to face that screeching horror of a carcass to whom he is married.

    • The Die Hard

Anyone with even a single functional brain cell, which you clearly do not have, never have had, and never will, knows that the Clinton witch-hunt, precipitated by AIPAC-agent Lewinsky’s handlers, who ordered the fat ugly slut to “Get something on Clinton, at all costs,” was THE most expensive NON-investigation in history.

Ken Starr, who otherwise would have been about to be dismissed for sheer incompetence, was handed everything the repugnantcas could initiate, including the idiocy with Vince Foster, to keep media attention of traitor thief felon Newt. He was sent slinking back to Waco to keep him from embarrassing Chickencrap George once Chickencrap was illegally installed. And it would take some pretty bad stuff to embarrass Chickencrap Bush.

The cost of all the BS the repukes aimed at President Clinton runs closer to half a billion, under various names. But you don’t have to be a rocket scientist, or even an economist, to have the fact shoved in your ignoramus face that the “Impeach Clinton” bumper stickers were on sale by Thanksgiving, and the stable of reichwingnut pimps and whores went into a screaming frenzy the day after the election.

All reichwingnuts are stupid, vicious, coward scum. All reichwingnuts should be shovelled back into their insane asylums. And all reichwingnut media whores should be taxed to the max, like 90%, and we’ll see how long their empire of lies lasts.

      • pitgremlin

You are a terrible troll. The key is to be subtle with hints of intelligence. You are just flaming away with a bunch of nonsense. I’m sure they have class over at Huffington Post.

  • oeno

    Um…what’s the point?

Who doesn’t agree with the last paragraph of this article?

    • jjsmithers

Perhaps the point was that Ratigan fits right in at MSNBC, with the other foul, dimwitted talking heads.

Or, maybe that legislation should not be rushed through Congress before obtaining all of the information that was requested by Congress.

Or, perhaps the point was that we are governed by jackasses, with even bigger jackasses on TV trying to explain what the governing jackasses are doing.
