Jersey Shore reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi participated in ample political discussion at Monday’s Washington Auto Show. She said former President George W. Bush ‘was pretty cute for an old man,’ talked about her support for Ariz. Sen. John McCain, and even discussed how she’d handle being Commander in Chief.

When Politico asked Snooki what she would do if she were president for a day, she said she’d attempt to end the war.

“I’d probably stop the war, and that’s serious. I’m not trying to be a beauty pageant girl, but war is not cool at all,” Snooki said.

Snooki added that McCain is the only politician she’s contacted.

“I’ve really only talked to John McCain, and that’s because I mentioned him on my show. How, you know, he probably wouldn’t do tan taxing because…he’s pale,” Snooki said.

The former Republican presidential nominee and the reality television star exchanged humorous tweets in June last year.

McCain tweeted, “Sn00ki u r right, I would never tax your tanning bed! Pres Obama’s tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. but I do rec wearing sunscreen!”

Snooki tweeted back, “Haha Yes!”

McCain also tweeted “Happy Birthday” to Snooki in November 2009.
