At the beginning of each year, men anxiously await the release of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. SI fans everywhere rejoiced Monday when the 2011 Swimsuit Edition cover was revealed during an airing of “The Late Show With David Letterman.”
Irina Shayk, the 2011 SI Swimsuit Edition cover girl and girlfriend of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, learned the news that she’d made the front cover during her appearance on “The Late Show.”
“We Russians, you know, we know all the secrets, but I didn’t know I was landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and it was so surprising to me,” Shayk said on the “Today Show” Tuesday. “I was in shock; I was crying.”
