Swift wrote her ballad “Enchanted” about meeting Owl City rocker Adam Young and included secret lyrics that only Young would be able to decode.
And today Young finally responded to Swift’s tune.
“Everything about you is lovely,” he writes in a letter to Swift posted on his blog. “You’re an immensely charming girl with a beautiful heart and more grace and elegance than I know to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale, and above all, I just want you to know…I was enchanted to meet you too.”
And if that wasn’t enough, Young even recorded (and posted) a cover of “Enchanted,” but added his own line: “I was never in love with someone else / I never had somebody waiting on me / ‘Cause you were all of my dreams come true / And I just wish you knew / Taylor I was so in love with you.”
