New York’s Teamsters Local 237 to bus in support to union protestors in Wisconsin

The Wisconsin workers who have staged a week-long protest against their union-busting governor are getting some Big Apple reinforcements.

Teamsters Local 237, which represents various city workers, intends to “bus a couple hundred” members to Madison – possibly this week, Deputy Director Pete Gutierrez told The Daily News.

“This governor has awakened a sleeping giant,” Gutierrez said of Gov. Scott Walker, a Republican. “We’re going to bring down as many people as possible. It’s an important issue and legitimate cause.”

    Call the troopers! Call the National Guard!!

    The unions are bringing in ringers! They are not local they can be as distructive as they want.And blame all on Gov. Walker.

    Whew I thought they were Teamster Truckers that worked for the private industries!! But they are local goverment the same ones that prop up Schumer and the rest of the Hacks. It is a shame nobody talks about where the jobs went and why. First down south than overseas cheaper and cheaper labor.Government rules and regulations help push the good union jobs out since the 70′s and they are not coming back. Do you remember the days of Hoffa the goverment fought them tooth and nail. They were the private jobs
